There is #NoExcuseforAbuse when it comes to our staff. Our hard-working Emergency Medical Dispatchers (EMDs) have recently reported an increase in abusive Triple Zero (000) phone calls. We invited 9 News Queensland along to our Brisbane Operations Centre to speak to EMDs about how their role is pivotal in providing early patient care and how verbal abuse can interfere with getting the best resources to our patients.
